Raintree Lake Committees

Clubhouse Renovation Committee

Oftentimes residents ask "I would like to help out and become more involved in my community, but don't know where to start." Others are willing to help out, but have limited availability due to work and/or family. The Raintree Lake Committees offer a wealth of opportunity for residents to become involved in their community, get to know their neighbors, and converse with others who have a genuine interest in growing a positive Raintree. Committees will welcome you whether you're willing to participate in designing such projects as maintenance buildings, walking trails, a future swimming pool, tennis court or other capital improvements to attending city meetings to give Raintree more of a voice in city politics. There are many items the city is reviewing that will affect property values, such as retention basins, street widening, annexation, and increased development within and outside of the community. Now is your chance to get involved.

For those who wish to become involved in activities such as Summerfest, Oktoberfest, Breakfast with Santa, or the Fishing Derby, the Activities Committee would welcome your assistance.

Suppose you have great ideas for Raintree monuments or landscaping ideas and want to share them with others to make Raintree Lake a more beautiful place to live. Well, the Common Ground Committee would welcome your ideas. If you have ideas for larger improvement projects, consider attending a meeting of the Vision Committee, or, if you are concerned about drainage of possible new housing adjacent to yours or on your street, consider attending an Architectural Review Board meeting.

And, for those who want to meet and greet those new to the community, the Welcoming Committee is always looking for assistance.

Members are invited and encouraged to join one or more committees and to take an active part in the community. Just show up a meeting to find out how you can help. In some situations members must be appointed to a committee by the Board of Directors upon recommendation by the committee chairperson.
