The Raintree Lake Property Owners Association is managed by a nine member Board of Directors. The Board is elected by the membership at Raintree's annual meeting on the last Thursday in March. Each director is elected to a two-year term. Officers are elected to one year terms. The terms are staggered so that either 4 or 5 directors are elected annually.
The Board governs and oversees the operations of Raintree Lake by enforcing the covenants and policies of the Association. The Board holds at least two meetings every month which are open to every member of Raintree. The Board of Directors meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month. At this meeting policies are made. The Board's work session, held on the fourth Thursday of each month, is a more informal affair at which time the Board discusses problems and policies but makes no formal decisions. Both meetings are held at 7:00 PM in the Raintree clubhouse.
