Raintree Shoreline
Adoption: You are already probably familiar with
"Adopt-a-Street" programs in Lee's Summit. Joan Bruns, Bowsprit
resident, and RLPOA are now starting an "Adopt-a-Shoreline" program.
Raintree will provide the tools for trash collection and volunteers will
provide the muscle. You can even adopt the shoreline behind your home
and maintain it with Raintree's supplies. For more information, click

Ward
Road Construction Status Report:
In response to resident inquiries, Lee's Summit has prepared information
regarding the history and future of Ward Road. This information, provided
on July 10, 2008 can be found
here.
In addition, the RLPOA Board has in the past been very involved in discussions
surrounding Ward Road. This historical reference is
also available.

Information meeting set for Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
at the Raintree Lake Clubhouse. You are invited to a
pre-construction update on the Ward Road project. The meeting will be an
open-house type meeting with a representative of APAC, the road contractor
performing the construction for the developer of Kensington Farms, the City's
project inspector and several engineering staff members. In addition to
information on the road project, update information on the sanitary sewer
project planned for the area will be available. (updated
